“Sakramenthausen” (sacrament house) of St. Lorenz church in Nuremberg, Germany. Whereas the English were wont to reserve the Sanctissimum in a veiled hanging pyx, the Germans were more inclined to use these tall (apparently, some are as tall as 18m or ~ 36ft!), free-standing structures for the veneration of the faithful.
